Program description

Appliance Repair Near Me service updates is a transactional and customer-care text program about your appliance repair. When you opt in, we may text you appointment confirmations, arrival-window reminders, technician en-route notices, repair status and parts updates, receipts, and a one-time request for feedback after service.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How you opt in

You join the program in one of three ways:

• By checking the box labeled Text me about this repair on one of our website forms, such as the schedule form. The box is unchecked by default, so it is your choice.
• By giving verbal consent when you book by phone.
• By texting us first. When you text us about your repair, that is your consent to receive replies about that repair.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any repair or service. You can book with us without opting in.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies by job. A typical repair generates 2 to 6 messages, from the confirmation through the feedback request. A repair that needs a part on order may generate a few more. We send texts between 8 AM and 9 PM Eastern.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for sending or receiving texts come from your mobile carrier under your plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. After you opt out we send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts unless you opt in again.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment. We will reach you by email or a phone call for anything about your repair instead.

If you would rather deal with a person than an automated reply, say so in your message and a person will follow up.

Privacy

We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your number only to run this program and to handle your repair. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect and protect your information.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and network coverage and is not guaranteed.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
